Our Story

How We Got Our Start
The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company began as a dorm room venture between two friends at the University of Michigan. It evolved from those founders sleeping in a warehouse alongside their printing press to a thriving business with over 50 employees and a few dogs, shipping apparel worldwide from Michigan!

What Makes Our Product Unique
Almost all our products are designed, printed, and embroidered right here in our Ann Arbor, MI factory. Our team enjoys fair wages, healthcare benefits, 401k matching, and meals. We source our machines, inks, and most materials in the U.S., and our shirts are primarily made from U.S. cotton. By producing in-house, we maintain high quality while keeping prices affordable.

Why We Love What We Do
For us, printing is where art meets life. We relish the opportunity to transform our customers’ ideas, passions, and identities into tangible creations through ink and thread. We use high-quality apparel that is both affordable and something we proudly wear ourselves. The positive reactions from our fans inspire us every day!
